Chap. 1 BEGINNINGS ARE ALWAYS DIFFICULT
In a small town on the outskirts of Lleida, called Vallfogona of Balaguer, lived the young Josep Pique with his family. This was made up of her parents, her sister, and all kinds of animals: cows, dogs, cats, rabbits... They loved them! His parents came from a humble family, but with effort and dedication, they were able to create a small business as farmers, working their own land and as ranchers, managing and caring for their cows and rabbits.
Chap. 2 PROBLEM NO PROBLEM!
At that time, in Spain things were not going very well financially. Livestock markets were collapsing and that caused great difficulties for the businessmen who were engaged in it, as is the case of Josep's family.
Chap. 3 RENEW OR DIE
Things were getting a bit complicated for the family, so Josep, who was already very smart back then, had a great idea:
— What do you think if we enter the world of pets and start selling rabbits as pets? We love animals, we have taken care of them all our lives and in Spain it is not very common to have rabbits as pets.
And this is how Josep and his family began to build the world cunipic.
Chap. 4 HAPPY ENDINGS ARE ONLY FOR MOVIES
It seemed they were off to a good start, until the rabbits, a few weeks after leaving the farm, began to get sick. in cunipic They didn't understand why. How could they have countless healthy and very long-lived rabbits on their farm, but, nevertheless, they fell ill in the stores? After spending a lot of time researching, they understood that the rabbits were not being fed correctly; It was not a quality diet, it was not adequate and it was not provided in the correct quantities.
Chap. 5 FOOD YES, BUT NOT OF ANY KIND

Well, over time he realized that exotic animals were still a great unknown for most people; They didn't know how to take care of them which were its characteristics and origins.
cunipic It was created within a family and above all for them, the FAMILY and the animals that are part of it, is what they have always valued the most. Thus, Josep decided to open a channel you Tube and show families advice on care, feeding and curiosities about rabbits in order to help them.
Today the channel you Tube "The How and Why of my Pet" is one of the largest on this subject, with more than 600.000 followers.
Chap. 8 WE ARE INTERNATIONAL
Perseverance, effort and dedication are always rewarded.
Over the years cunipic It gradually positioned itself in the market, becoming a great brand reference in the world of exotic animals. Currently cunipic sells to 38 countries, has created more than 6 different ranges of products for a total of 21 different animal species. It could be said that they have not gone bad at all, right?

The world of the exotic animal is something in which the Piqué family was already hardened in battles, but they had a thorn nailed, one thorn They wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible.

In chapter 1, we told you that the family, among other animals, also lived with dogs. Dogs have always been very important in their lives and they could not rule them out of their family business project. For this reason, in 2018, they began to formulate new recipes for dogs that would be based on the same fundamental pillars of cunipic: natural, quality and functional food.
