Ferrets and vitamin supplements

Is it necessary to give extra vitamins to our ferrets?

Surely many of us have asked ourselves this question at some point...

We all know that ferrets are strictly carnivorous, but the diet they have in the wild is very different from what we can offer them in our home. This does not mean that the diet we give them at home with a good extruded feed is bad, but rather that there are certain times of the year when they may need an extra supply of vitamins.

WHEN IS IT MOST ESSENTIAL TO HELP THEM WITH VITAMINS?

At the time of molting, we may find that our ferret has trouble putting on new fur. This problem usually occurs basically in the queue. We can confuse it with the beginning of adrenal cancer, so we have to pay attention if we observe other areas of the body with alopecia (lack of hair).

We can help our ferret in molting, putting some vitamins in the food. In this case we can use the Cunipic Vital Omega Ferret.

What is the Vital Omega Ferret?

Vital Omega is a vitamin supplement specially designed for ferrets, with essential fatty acids (AGE), vitamins and minerals, so that our huris can enjoy the necessary vitality, as well as a soft and shiny coat.

WE CAN FIND AMONG THE MAIN INGREDIENTS:

  •  Omega 3 and 6. Helps prevent diseases and regulate the cariovascular, immune, digestive and reproductive systems of ferrets.
  • Vitamin A. Promotes the vision of our pet.
  • Vitamin E. It has properties that benefit the circulatory system, as well as antioxidant and eye properties.
  • Vitamin B6. It is needed for the body to properly make antibodies and erythrocytes (red blood cells).
  • Zinc. Its deficiency causes rough fur, retardation in growth development, diseases and skin lesions.

A TRUE CASE...

We received an email from one of our followers that we would like to share with all of you. So we leave it below with the permission of the person involved:

Hello Cunipic,

I wanted to thank you for your attention and your products.

After your recommendation, I went to the store to buy the Vital Ferret. First I was surprised that my houri began to lick it unceremoniously, he loved its taste!!!

After about two weeks giving him the vitamins, his hair is back on his tail, besides that all the fur on his body is shinier and silkier, and his eyes are lively again, hehehe!!!

Thank you very much, you are really great!!!

It's great to hear from people we've been able to help with our products, and thus get healthier and happier pets!!!
